Our First Ask.

MEF (the Midland Educational Foundation) runs the Red Envelope Drive each year to fund the programs, enrichment, and experiences at Midland Elementary that the district budget doesn't cover. We are inviting families and community members to invest in something wonderful together: the programs, enrichment, and experiences that make Midland Elementary exceptional for every child who walks through those doors.

When hundreds of families each give what feels right for them, we build something none of us could build alone.

Give what works for you - every contribution makes a difference. The first 100 donations receive a stadium cup!

Your Gift Funds:

  • Performing Arts Programs and Music Instruction

  • Future goals of a dedicated PE Teacher and Art Instruction

  • STEM enrichment programs and future goals for a STEM Lab

  • Grade Level Field trips, Biztown and classroom experiences that go beyond the textbook

  • Classroom and teacher supplies that fill the gaps district funding doesn't cover

  • Resource Teacher hours for additional student support

  • School site improvement goals such as safety film on windows, an outdoor classroom
    and student garden area

  • Student clubs like Lego Club, Running Club, and new clubs launching this year

  • School events that bring our whole community together,
from the TK/K Popsicle Party to the Rattler Run

How to Donate.

You’ll receive a Red Envelope at Back-to-School Night. Simply follow the instructions on the envelope and return it to your teacher or the main office.

EVERY AMOUNT MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Whether your family gives $5 or $500, your participation is what powers this campaign. There is no minimum. There is no expectation. There is only a community that shows up for its kids and we're grateful to be part of it.

We accept cash, check, or online payment.
Have an employer matching program? We’d love to help you maximize your gift!
